Pain Perdu

French Toast is the next best thing for brunch after pancakes :)
You can make these more sweeter adding icing sugar on top.
Use the toppings of your choice!!
My version this time was..

PAIN PERDU AVEC CONFITURE DE MÛRE, CHÈVRE & PÊCHES

2 eggs
200 ml soya milk or normal
2 teaspoons sugar
200 g toast of your choice (I used sunflower & linen seed integral)
butter for cooking

+ fresh goat cheese, boysenberry marmalade and peaches

In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and sugar until blended.
Place the toasts in a large container, pour the mixture over them and let stand still for 15 minutes, then turn them around with a help of a spatula and let them stay for a while making sure they are fully moistened.
On a pan, heat some butter and start baking the toasts one by one turning them around when they get cooked.
Serve with the things you like the most / that are in season at the moment.
Add a glass of sparkling wine if it's a special occasion!!

After brunch a nice walk at the nearby hill with a beautiful view..
It's still summer here <3
